Country of Origin(产地): Japan.(日本)
Size(大小): Shoulder height(肩高): 61 - 67 cm (24 - 26.25 inches).
Coat(外表): Hair is straight and coarse(毛粗而直), and the undercoat is soft and dense(内毛软而密). Permitted colors are red(纯的颜色为红色,白色和有条纹的), white, and streaked.
Character(个性): This breed has a strong hunting instinct (具有很好的兽猎天性)and is calm(冷静), intelligent(聪明), and a good watchdog(很好的看家犬). Barking(容易叫), however, is infrequent(但是不时常叫).
Temperament(性情): They prefer not to have other dogs around.(不适合与其他犬类一起伺养) There will be problems if they do not become acquainted with cats and other household pets early in life(与其他动物一起伺养的话,需要从很小就开始让他们适应环境). They get along with children(喜欢孩子), provided that they do not invade their personal space. Strangers will get a chilly reception.(不喜欢外人,守卫自己的领土)
